Q: How would you describe this season compared to previous ones?

“It was a very important game for us tonight because we came out of three very disappointing results”, he said. I’m in a good way and playing really well.

Q: How much have you developed compared to previous years?

“I’m still a bit short of fitness and it will take me a few games to get back into it but I’m pleased today with my overall contribution”, he said.

Wenger is hoping Sanchez will be back from his hamstring problem before Christmas and says sending the player home to Chile while he’s out will also allow him to recharge his batteries. That’s a statement that has been discussed at great length since the Stoke win, with most of the people I’ve discussed it with being of the same opinion as myself – it’s not bad to watch at all.

Q: How hard will the Olympiacos game be? “For our serene side, it is better to prepare for the Olympiakos game knowing that we have won”. “I was frustrated but now I’m very pleased to score the second goal and help the team win the game”, he added.
