Wenger: Wilshere Is A Future Arsenal Manager
“He has a real football brain”. You either have that or you haven’t, but he is a real football man.

‘He will spend his life in football. But he is a real Arsenal man, as well.
“I see him in the future at this club, of course”, he said.
“I think Jack Wilshere is a world-class player”.
After joining the Arsenal academy as a nine-year-old in 2001, midfielder Jack Wilshere has grown from strength to strength at the Emirates. I want him to extend (his contract), yes. “We all know what’s happened to him with regards to his injuries, and he’s been very unfortunate with that”, Henry told Sky Sports. Wilshere’s omission from the national team also had a part to play in his decision to move to Bournemouth, as he looks to get himself back in the good books of Sam Allardyce.
Wenger hopes to see Wilshere play as a No. 10 at Bournemouth, but said there is no reason why he and Ozil can’t co-exist in the same lineup. He is not yet completely at his physical level. If you look at the number of games he has played recently in the last six months, you can not be at the competitive level he wants to be.
“I try always to combine the interests of the club and the player. Because what you want above all is that a guy of his talent plays the football he can play”. Because he can not play bad.
Arsene Wenger has been extremely patient with the player and has always held him in high regard, despite his fitness concerns.
The England worldwide has joined Bournemouth for the season in hope of getting his career back on track, having suffered with a number of injury setbacks in previous years.
However, due to a number of injuries sustained over the years, Wilshere has failed to reach the heights many expected him to.
Wenger is encouraged by the fact Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe wants to deploy Wilshere as an attacking midfielder rather than in the deep, holding role where he often played for England. He understands football, it’s in his genes. You don’t find many people who take people on.
He added: “Personally I prefer him further forward”. I heard there could have been a move to Italy but maybe he wanted to stay close to his family and London.
But just where Wilshere will eventually fit into this current Arsenal side as a player remains a question. If he plays, he will play really well, because he can not play badly.

“But the first person to be happy about that, would be me”. What you want more than anything is for a player with his talent to play.
