According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Steelers are favored on the road Sunday, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Eagles. After having a 36-yard field goal blocked on the opening possession, Chris Boswell provided the only points with a 40-yard field goal.

Wins over the Browns and Bears were no fluke.

The Steelers are a great litmus test heading into the bye week.

For all of the people who had questions about Wentz, he has been answering them with his dominant play. He was 23-of-31 for 301 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. His passer rating? Wentz should have opportunities to make plays as well, but the Steelers still come up with some big plays when needed.

Wentz and the Eagles have a tough test against the Pittsburgh Steelers who will no doubt look to make things hard for the rookie quarterback.

He added: “We’re here to win games”.

“He doesn’t play for you”, Matthews said.

“That’s his standard, even on game day, ” Matthews said. The secondary gives up yardage but still has the ability to takeaway the ball. They never got on track, though, Sunday in Philadelphia.

“As a quarterback, you’ve got to bring energy and elevate the play of everyone around you”, Wentz said. If we concentrate too much on 84 (Brown) – and he’s going to get a lot of our attention, for sure – there’s a lot of other guys that can make us pay. “When you’ve been in the league for a while, you can tell when you have good players, a good team”. So we need to keep our rush going.

“They were mixing up some things”, Roethlisberger said after the game. “Anything can happen in the National Football League”. “You will see more of that front with this group“. Giving him time to carve up a defense is not an option. It’s a one-game mentality. “It’s a little skewed because we had to become so one dimensional and they could just tee off on the pass”.
