Wesley Bryan leads PGA John Deere Classic
American Ryan Moore leads by one shot going into the final round of the John Deere Classic after firing a third successive round of 65 on Saturday in IL.

While Martin reeled off three birdies of his own to trim Moore’s advantage to two shots, it never got any closer than that.
It was to be Moore’s day though, and having parred his way home on the last eight holes in the most composed fashion imaginable, the Tacoma native found his way back into the winner’s circle just in time for the FedEx Cup. “It will be nice not to have to wake up at 4:30 and getting to sleep in a little bit tomorrow”.
One of the few players not making much of a move was Zach Johnson, who was among a large group of players to have to play 36 holes after rain delayed Friday’s play for nearly five hours.
The 48-year-old Gillis may be tired, but he’s also determined to win his first PGA Tour title. He was third in March in the Valspar Championship and has five top-10 finishes this season.
“There actually was plenty of light for the tee shot and the second shot”, Moore said.
“I’ve never been unconvinced that that many people in your corner, as the four of us have witnessed this week, can not somehow kind of talk you into what might happen”, Sindelar said. “So (we’ll) probably get plugged balls in the fairways, mud balls”. He had four birdies and a bogey. Two years ago at age 11, Li became the youngest qualifier in U.S. Women’s Open history.
The PGA Tour returns on Thursday for the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, NC. “I guess they’re running in right now”. Moore closed with 4-under 67 and went bogey-free his final 46 holes for his fifth PGA Tour victory.
His lone career PGA Tour win came at the 2014 Shriners Hospital for Children Open.
“It was one of those days where all the putts were going in”, Martin said.
After the three consecutive birdies, Martin felt like he came up short, carding pars on the next four holes. Ricky Barnes (67), Kelly Kraft (69) and Johnson Wagner (70) all tied for fifth at 15-under. The 26-year-old former SC player dominated the Web.com Tour this season, winning in Louisiana, Mexico and Kansas and earning $449,392 in 13 starts.
Kim had a 64, jumping 19 spots after the second round.
“It’s a great feeling”, he said on the PGA Tour website.
Three-time champion Steve Stricker had a 70.
The 49-year-old Edgerton native, a former University of IL player from Wisconsin, won the event in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Stricker said. “It’s wet”. We’re lucky to be playing. The course took a lot of rain.
Zach Johnson shot 71-71 to remain at 6 under.
Johnson, a Drake alum who grew up in Cedar Rapids, was among 90 golfers who were scheduled to begin the second round about 7 p.m. Friday.
“Frustrating. Long. Stale. Very stale”, Johnson said.

Defending champion Jordan Spieth was not entered this week after also deciding to skip the Olympic Games.
