West Brom make improved £11.5m bid for Leicester forward Jeffrey Schlupp
According to Sky Sports (live transfer thread, 12 August 2016 at 20:08), Leicester City’s Jeffrey Schlupp has been removed from the weekend matchday squad in the wake of a new bid from West Bromwich Albion.

The Foxes have already rejected offers from Albion of up to £9million for the 23-year-old Ghana global wide man, who scored one goal in 24 Premier League appearances as Claudio Ranieri’s men lifted the title against all the odds last season.
Versatile Schlupp helped Leicester pull off their huge shock and win the Premier League title last season.
Leicester were unavailable for comment on reports that Schlupp had been withdrawn from the squad to face Hull as a result of the renewed speculation over his future.
Nonetheless, he was named as Leicester’s Young Player of the Year for the second season running.
The 23-year-old was the subject of a £12m offer from the Baggies on Friday, although the Foxes have yet to give a formal response.

In all, Schlupp, who spent two weeks on trial at Manchester United in 2012, has made 142 appearances for the Foxes, scoring 15 goals.
