West Ham have demanded a police presence for games at the London Stadium after trouble marred Saturday’s match against Watford.
That 1-0 win for Watford is the Hornets’ only clean sheet in 17 league visits away to West Ham.
But Watford scored four goals in a 22-minute spell around halftime, starting with Odion Ighalo’s deflected shot in the 41st minute.
Bilic told the Hammers’ website: “If we could have Pogba we would sign Pogba, make no mistake”.
“We all dug in and started to lay a bit of a hand on them and before you know it we were getting more chances and we got two goals before half-time”.
“It is important that we recognise the vast majority who have attended the first five fixtures played at London Stadium have been outstanding with their behaviour and support”.
“He has helped the whole team with this confidence and I think the whole team approached the game, especially after the first two goals, with the right mentality”.
“I will work with them tactically and mentally, not only on the pitch”.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic doesn’t see a problem with Paul Pogba’s price tag at Manchester United. “They should have to do something better to hurt us”.
Frustrations appeared to spill over as the incidents took place, and West Ham were quick to stress a zero tolerance approach to crowd violence and said they would not hesitate to ban perpetrators.
“It’s hard to explain”.
