And that move could be on the cards now that West Ham and Aston Villa have started talks with each other over a potential move.
Xia is keen not to see the 24-year-old Ghana worldwide leave as Aston Villa look to instantly bounce back up to the Premier League following relegation last season.
There are also reports that the Hammers are close to completing a deal for Swansea City’s Andrew Ayew, with the transfer set to be completed when the Swans sign Fernando Llorente.
The 24-year-old, who is valued at £8m by the Villans, played alongside his brother during their time together at Marseille, and is open to the idea of doing so once again at West Ham.

The brothers, who finished last season as top scorers for their clubs in the Premier League, have become hot transfer targets, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Bournemouth also showing interest.
