West Ham sign former Real Madrid full-back Arbeloa
According to Sky Sports, West Ham United are in talks to sign free agent defender Alvaro Arbeloa to boost their defensive options.

The experienced defender came to the end of his contract in the Spanish capital in June.
Arbeloa made 66 appearances for Liverpool before re-joining his boyhood club, Real Madrid, making 153 appearance before calling it a day at the Bernabeu this Summer., He is now out of contract and a free agent.
The ex-Spain worldwide left Real to sign for Liverpool in 2007 but moved back to the Bernabeu in 2009.
“I am really happy to be here in a great Club in a great league”, Arbeloa told West Ham’s official website. It’s really nice and looks fantastic.
“For me, this is a great chance to be back in England and in the Premier League, which is a fantastic league and I want to put myself here again”.
There have been noises coming out from West Ham today that the club are looking to bring in one more player on deadline day, and it seems Arbeloa is their man.

Arbeloa is a veteran of European football with 53 caps for Spain between 2008 and 2013, and over 50 appearances in the Champions League.
