Despite Swansea’s struggles, Ayew managed to score an impressive 12 goals throughout the course of the campaign, and following his exploits it was no surprise whatsoever in seeing a host of clubs expressing their interest in signing the Ghanaian worldwide this summer.

The Swans are in talks with Atletico Madrid over Borja Baston, who was a massive hit on loan at Eibar last season, bagging 18 goals in 36 La Liga games.

Ayew is now discussing personal terms with the Hammers.

Ayew joins West Ham having agreed a three-year deal worth a reported £120,000-per-week.

Andre Ayew joined Swansea from Marseille last summer and has now moved on to West Ham.

West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, had been looking to strengthen his forward options ahead of the new season especially as he prepares for life without Diafra Sakho left the club for West Bromwich Albion.

Ayew becomes West Ham’s sixth signing of the summer as they prepare for their opening campaign at the London Stadium.

Speaking to the Hammers official website, Masuaku said: “It’s a big honour for me to be part of this Club”.

West Ham’s France star Dimitri Payet received the biggest cheer of the day upon his appearance as a substitute, but Zaza settled the match in Juve’s favour when he slotted home from the edge of the box.

Carroll already played both games this season against Domzale in the Europa League qualifications, recording an assist in Thursday’s 3-0 win at Olympic Stadium.
