The first of the sixth goals came in the fifth minute when Antonio met Payet’s corner kick in the box and headed the ball home from six yards out.

Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney, who scored 28 league goals between them for Watford last season but had not found the net in the league before yesterday, each got off the mark to pull their team back from a 2-0 deficit before half-time.

West Ham supporters fought among themselves, and clashed with stewards and Watford fans at their new stadium in east London. Calleri is also in search of the ideal first goal for the team, I don’t think Zaza is that cute.

But Watford were level by the break after two pieces pieces of terrible defending from the home side.

And there was still time in a dramatic first half for the visitors to snatch an equaliser after a awful mix-up between Collins and Adrian left the Hammers keeper in no man’s land.

Zaza is on loan from Juventus after helping them to the double last season.

No one really expected what came after that, though, as West Ham’s first-half stars went AWOL, their back four went to pieces, and Etienne Capoue and Jose Holebas rubbed salt into home wounds with two more cracking goals.

Troy Deeney grabbed an equaliser in first-half stoppage time to send the two sides deadlocked to the interval.

West Ham has promised to enforce life bans as the Football Association prepares to investigate crowd trouble. He waltzed through the middle of the Hammers rearguard late in the game only for Adrian to save his low shot.

“It’s hard to explain”, said Bilic. 10, Saturday as both clubs try to boost each one’s 2016-2017 Premier League season’s campaigns following a lackluster start to the term. Two of these were given against Watford, West Ham’s opponents today.

Hammers fans had been waiting for a show to match the surroundings ever since Slaven Bilic’s men moved into the Olympic Stadium – but not this sort.
