Mr Vader, who runs his own gym, said he used his name to raise money for a number of causes in the town of Canandaigua, including the local food pantry, The Salvation Army and military veterans.

A western NY man legally changed his name previous year to match the villain in the “Star Wars” films, the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reported.
A 1991 Penfield High School graduate and Marine veteran, Vader grew up in foster care, and says he didn’t have strong ties to his name.
“I wanted to do something of my own”, he said.
People dressed as characters from the movie Star Wars – including iconic bad guy Darth Vader – attend a service at the church Zionskirche in Berlin. He’s completed more than 50 5-k races, 45 Tough Mudders, 18 half marathons, three marathons and a triathlon.
Vader is waiting on a bone marrow transplant and has a GoFundMe page set up.
His driver’s license actually reads “Darth Vader”, but people who know him still call him Eric.
“I’m built like a football player, but I needed something to challenge myself”, he told the Democrat and Chronicle.
Alongside Darth Vader and the Sith, devotees of the dark side of the Force, lesser known figures were also represented.

You’ll notice Darth Vader is conspicuously quiet in the video.
‘It doesn’t end, ‘ he said.
“Every year, especially this year, doing 32 events, it gave me something to always take my mind off things”, he said.

Plus, I’m sure he gets weird looks every-time he’s carded.
