A ball has not been bowled in the last four days due to storms that have hit India, resulting in the match being drawn.

But he did insist that the intensity and momentum that India have built to a steam since the Mohali Test hadn’t dissipated and that his young team was looking at the positives. “I think in a Test match, if you lose four days, it will not be any good to have an extra reserve day. To have him back in confidence is always a boost for the team”, said Kohli who is leading India in his first home series. Incidentally, this match enters record books as the shortest Test match where two innings were batted. “We took the confidence from Mohali to Bangalore and we had a good day’s play”. “We are glad to share the moment with him”, he said. And we batted pretty well of whatever time we had in the middle.
