Whalen, Augustus need to get going for Lynx in WNBA Finals
In this October. 4, 2015, photo, Minnesota Lynx’s Lindsay Whalen… Fever guards Briann January (19), Shenise Johnson (10) and Shavonte Zellous (10 off the bench) were the key to a Game 1 victory. January pointed to a bleeding cut on her face that she said came from the collision.

Whalen scored 4 factors and tried simply three photographs within the series-opening, 75-69 loss to the Fever. The Minnesota Lynx have scored under 70 points in four of their last seven games and have lost six of their last eight when that’s the case. “Hopefully we’ll be better having experienced it”. “They didn’t get the job done”. Everybody knows they need to do more.
Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine have teamed up to purchase 1,000 tickets for Game 2, which is a 7 p.m. tipoff at Target Center. I expect another game to come down to the wire.
Maya Moore had 27 points and 12 rebounds and Sylvia Fowles add 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Lynx. “We’re going to make adjustments in our defense, and we’re going to have different schemes, but we have to individually take pride in our defense and lock people down”. However, the Fever are playing too well at the moment to lay this many points.
“She’s had to adjust to a new style because it’s not the same when she goes in there”, Reeve said.
“Couldnt be much better”, Fowles said of her birthday falling on the day of Game 2. “It’s been a little bit harder for her”.
“I think our execution was miserable”, said a clearly frustrated Reeve. She said she will look at ways to free Whalen up. “We know what we need to do and when we need to step up”.

HEY ROOKIE: Indiana’s Stephanie White became the first rookie head coach to lead her team to the finals. “Whether it’s initiating offense, whether it’s for spacing reasons, whether we’re using her as a facilitator, we were just trying to get mismatches”.
