Wham! star George Michael has died

George – who was found dead by his partner Fadi Fawaz – is thought to have died from heart failure although a post mortem to confirm this will take place shortly.

Kennedy posted a picture of himself and the star on his Instagram page yesterday, writing: “Rest In Peace George I’m heartbroken we never got to speak again after so many years”.

The Faith hitmaker’s publicist confirmed the tragic news at the time of his death, and on Tuesday (27Dec16), the representative issued a new statement to express the family’s gratitude for the messages of condolence. “There will be no further comment at this stage”.

Police are treating Michael’s passing as “unexplained but not suspicious”.

George Michael’s boyfriend is speaking out just days after the 53-year-old singer passed away.
