What are the odds of winning the $1.4B Powerball jackpot?
The jackpot for the multi-state Powerball game was $1.4 billion as of Monday, after nobody matched the winning numbers in Saturday’s drawing.

According to their summary of winning tickets, 28 people won a $1 million prize.
A victor would have the option of being paid $1.5 billion through annual payments over 29 years or opting for one smaller cash payment.
Since then, there have been 19 consecutive drawings without a top prize victor.
In Iowa, the message printed Sunday at the bottom of all lottery tickets said the next Powerball jackpot would be $1,300 million.
That dream came true Saturday when Dominguez’s Powerball ticket yielded a $1 million prize. Forty-four states are playing the Powerball, and proceeds will have to be split among all of them.
