What exactly does a party chair do?
Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to boo her off stage.

As a result of the leaks, Wasserman Schultz has been removed as a speaker at the DNC this week, a decision reached by party officials Saturday, a top Democrat said.
The scene was a troubling display of tumult for Democrats who awoke Monday to a firestorm over hacked party emails.
Wikileaks released a bunch of emails over the weekend that showed her and other Democratic National Committee officials talking smack about Bernie Sanders and his campaign.
Campaigning in North Carolina, Trump seemed to revel in the Democrats’ commotion, telling supporters that Clinton made a mistake by not choosing a more liberal running mate to appease Sanders’ base.
The scandal is an unwanted distraction as the Democratic Party tries to paint itself as paint itself as unified at the four-day convention. Elizabeth Warren, a favorite of liberals.
The kickoff lineup had always been meant to appeal to the party’s restive liberal wing, but that task has become unexpectedly urgent.
Cybersecurity experts who initially responded to the DNC hack identified two distinct groups of hackers operating in the system – one who had exclusively gone after the party’s opposition research file on Donald Trump, and one that had been snooping on DNC emails for about a year.
Sanders has made clear that he would like to see a full roll call vote at the convention, so that his delegates can show their support. Others said they simply couldn’t support Clinton. He is trying to dismiss the new e-mails and DNC disrespect. “The Dems Convention is cracking up and Bernie is exhausted, no energy left!”
Some Sanders delegates feel the Clinton campaign is not taking their policy concerns seriously.
Bernie Sanders drew boos and angry chants from his delegates as he urged Hillary Clinton’s election.
Last week, during the GOP convention, Wasserman Schultz used a briefing with reporters to claim that the Republican gathering had brought to the fore an “anti-Semitic environment that Donald Trump embraces” and that the “anti-Semitism that is threaded throughout the Republican Party of late goes straight to the feet of Donald Trump”.
Sanders said Wasserman Schultz, a US representative from Florida, had made the right decision for the future of the Democratic Party.
“To not be fair during this entire process, it’s kind of shameful”, delegate Sanjay Patel, a Sanders supporter from Brevard County said before she spoke at Florida delegation breakfast.
At the Republican convention, Trump cast himself as the law-and-order candidate in a nation suffering under crime and hobbled by immigration, sticking to the gloom-and-doom theme.
“I know that electing Hillary Clinton as our next president is critical for America’s future”.
In return, Clinton seized upon what she called the “fear and the anger and the resentment” from Trump and Republicans, dismissing Trump’s declaration that only he could fix the problems that afflict the nation.
She will not have a speaking role at this week’s convention, according to several reports.
President Barack Obama, whom Wasserman Schultz helped re-elect as party chairwoman in 2012, also offered her his thanks Sunday. She will formally accept the nomination on Thursday.
While her ouster was a major victory for Sanders, it wasn’t enough to ease the frustration of his supporters.

“Going forward, the best way for me to accomplish those goals is to step down as party chair at the end of this convention”, she said in a statement.
