What Happens at the Tower of Joy on Game of Thrones?
Although Lyanna Stark has never been seen apart from Bran’s brief vision of her in Episode Two, Lyanna is a major character in the series.

Will the Tower of Joy scene in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 finally reveal Jon Snow’s parentage? “That’s what we’ll see in the next few episodes”. “The fact that he’s recurring again and again, and because it’s in the past, it suggests that maybe he has a colorful history that we’re not quite aware of”, said Wright.
And with young Ned’s backstory, comes a new actor to tell it and Robert Aramayo was chosen to pick up Sean Bean’s mantle.
In the flashback we find out that Ned falsified his fight against Ser Arthur Dayne and glorified his triumph.
Ned hears screaming from the tower and rushes up the steps knowing that it might be his sister Lyanna, who was rumored to be held hostage at the tower. The Three-Eyed Raven tells Bran it’s time to leave, but Bran wants to stay and he calls out to his father. That’s simply too much weight for this Jon to carry. Four of the men riding with Ned were killed by the kingsguard and Ned and Howland Reed (Meera’s father) narrowly survived. After fans witnessed Bran Stark’s flashback, courtesy of his training with the Three-Eyed Raven, one question that was most likely in everyone’s mind: “Is Jon Snow Lyanna Stark’s son?!” So if youve ever heard mention of the L+R=J theory, thats what is being discussed. Ned then hears screams coming from the tower, and he rushes up the stairs. Theres also a dream featuring a bed of blood, which is widely considered to be a reference to child birth. And Redditor NegativeKarmaSniifer has theorised that, far from being a snow-bound footnote, Bran “sets the events of the show in motion” by trying to interact with the Mad King Aerys II Targaryen during a vision.
Game of Thrones aired another new episode on Sunday night, and fans were beyond excited to see a specific scene teased in the previews.
Snow was thought to be dead after he was repeatedly stabbed in the courtyard of the castle in the Mutiny at Castle Black and left to bleed out in the frost, however, a day later he is brought back to life by Melisandre (Carice van Houten).
Following the conclusion of season six, episode three of “Game of Thrones”, there’s a fresh fan theory going around that has everyone more freaked out than the impending arrival of the White Walkers.

Jon also infuriated a family that’s supposed to be “famously loyal” to the Starks.
