The photo of a baby surrounded by a heart of syringes is touching hearts after it appeared on Facebook.

Anyone who has become a mother after years of longing and trying will know the enormous love and relief that take should when your baby finally arrives into the world.

The image which was shared on the Facebook page of Sher Institutes “shows the true definition of love that went into the making of this gorgeous new baby girl”. This image is tugging at heartstrings after it appeared on the social media site. It has received over 14,000 likes since Sunday.

Denise Welch is hoping that by undergoing IVF treatment she will be able to have a baby with her new partner – at the age of 54.

Sher Institute captioned the image with a honest thank you to the IVF institute.

“When I look at this photo, I see a badge like an invisible tattoo that women carry who have been through the process both success and fails”, one parent said.

Stark told USA Today that the photo is meant to “encourage a culture of openness and elevating the dialogue around infertility”.

The mother – known only as Angela – photographed her sleeping newborn baby encircled by hundreds of syringes representing all the fertility injections she had during her IVF cycles.

Several shared pictures of their grown children who were conceived with IVF – including quite a few sets of triplets – while others remarked on how powerful the picture was.

And Angela, the mum of the bub in the original photo, has a message for others who are on a similar path: “hang in there”.

Angela said that “the needles were the easy part. It was the emotional struggle, the ups and downs, that really took a toll”, she told the news channel.

Sara Husson posted, “Didn’t even tell my husband what this was, I just handed him my phone”. And then by that time it was hard to get pregnant’. “So blessed to be their mom”, said one woman beside a photo of her triplet daughters.

IVF can be both joyful and painful.
