What’s a debate without Donald Trump? Boring, Trump predicts
Donald Trump is scheduled for 11 a.m. Americans are either going to find a pleasing contrast to the rip-roaring show Republicans have put on – or they’re going to be bored senseless.

Picture, for a moment, a presidential contest without Donald Trump.
Cooper called Trump’s effect on the GOP debates “extraordinary”, and he said it’s been “good for the process” by spurring interest in the primaries.
Honestly, she shouldn’t be allowed to run, Trump said to cheers at a large campaign rally in Norcross, Georgia. The Hubbard Democrat will be on the panel titled “A View from the Statehouse and Down the Street”.
Democrat Bernie Sanders is the only other presidential candidate speaking to the group with significant poll numbers.
The group’s co-chairs, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and former Connecticut Sen. Sanders and former Virginia Sen. How Clinton reacts while Sanders speaks – and vice versa – will be closely watched by members of the media and prospective voters.
Trump used his usual stump speech at the event, touting his speedy and under-budget overhaul of a botched renovation of the Wollman ice skating rink in New York City’s Central Park as proof of his ability to get things done.
As they prepare for their first face-off, Clinton and Sanders have signaled that they will wear velvet gloves. Democrats, Trump predicted Monday, won’t be able to compete. “I don’t ask if an idea is from the left or from the right or whether it’s Democratic or Republican”. Clinton, who earned a reputation as a steady and skilled debater in her 2008 campaign, is by her nature cautious and likely will display more competence than entertainment value.
“You’ve got to know how to make sure that you communicate with folks in a way that makes you understandable”, he said.
Democratic presidential hopeful Martin O’Malley, who was the first to speak, said the nation needs not just new leadership, but a new way of governing that invites people of all parties to “return to the table of democracy”. “I think it’s not going to be a very exciting debate”. “I don’t want to be politically correct all the way down the line”. CNN anchor Don Lemon also will ask questions submitted through Facebook, which is co-sponsoring the debate. There are expected to be five candidates on stage. Vice President Joe Biden will not likely attend, despite his eligibility. “Get everybody liquored up and solve problems”, Graham said. Many in the crowd hollered at Trump’s assumption.

Regardless, Cutter predicted Tuesday’s debate will draw the kind of audience that counts most. She’s always been registered as an undeclared voter but usually votes in the GOP primary. Wasserman Schultz has defended the number of debates as sufficient.
