What’s inside the new Apple iPhone?
Apple opened pre-orders today for the iPhone 7, priced from $649; and for the iPhone 7 Plus, from $769.

Eliminating the headphone jack is a controversial move for Apple, and the reaction was decidedly mixed.
For some time now, the world’s biggest tech company had been widely expected to kill off the headphone jack at the launch of the iPhone 7 in San Francisco.
As awesome as iPhones are, they aren’t necessarily the most affordable phone on the market.

With the traditional headphone jack gone, Apple expects iPhone 7 owners to use headphones sporting a Lightning connector-like the EarPods included in the box, Bluetooth earphones, or their current wired headphones with the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter that’s also included.
IPhone 7 users are not forbidden of using standard headphones, as the company will include an adapter for the iPhone 7’s Lighting port to enable 3.5-mm input connection.
The iPhone 7 camera has a 12MP sensor with upgraded low-light capture technology.
To make up for that change, Apple is offering new AirPods that wirelessly connected to each other and to the phone.

Update 3: Placed my order for a black iPhone 7 Plus 32GB as soon as the web store came online. It’s a much better situation than when Apple was selling 30 Pin-to-Lightning adapters for a pop a few years ago.
