What’s on Hillary Clinton’s to-do list before Election Day?

Lost in the fierce debate over Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s shifting immigration position is a focus on two other issues that one longtime GOP activist says should matter far more to Latinos: improving educational outcomes and spurring economic policies to encourage entrepreneurship. But he is not running as a fringe third party.

The entire period was a dramatic encapsulation of the Trump campaign, which has been characterized by erratic statements, a lack of political clarity and a candidate who resists being controlled or pinned down.

Trump will be largely on his own, with the exception of running mate Mike Pence and a few loyal supporters such as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Biden touted the Obama administration’s 2009 federal bailout of the auto industry, which the president emphasized in OH during his re-election campaign in 2012. He also lashed out at the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership as “a catastrophe”.

Tim O’Hara, vice president of UAW Local 1112 at Lordstown, estimated that about 20 percent to 25 percent of his members will support Trump, and that it’s probably not worth Democrats trying to turn around die-hard Trump supporters.

GOP congressional candidates used the same argument late in the 1996 campaign, when GOP presidential candidate Bob Dole headed toward defeat against Democratic President Bill Clinton. “So, I don’t think that the helter-skelter of a political campaign tells you too much about her capacity to govern effectively with the strong support of the American people”, Sullivan said.

Clinton has led Trump through most of the campaign for the November election, though neither candidate appears to have inspired America.

Trump is also expected to campaign at a fair in Youngstown, Ohio, in a nod to the state’s role as a make-or-break proving ground for Republican presidential candidates.

Earlier this week, another black minister, Mark Burns, a Trump surrogate from SC, set of a new round of condemnation when he tweeted a cartoon of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in blackface: “Black Americans, THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTES and letting me use you again”. The results are likely to reinforce Clinton’s preference for a careful, boring campaign at stark odds with her Republican rival’s wild swings between presidential gravitas and red meat rhetoric. Democrat Hillary Clinton features a softer approach that embraces diversity and the value of keeping immigrant families together, even as her critics accuse her of promoting “open borders”. He said contributors to the Clinton Foundation got favorable treatment from the state department under Clinton, which her campaign denies. People can believe Mr. Trump because he says what he thinks, unlike Secretary Clinton whom the vast majority of voters think is untrustworthy. Overall, there has been a shift of 0.6 percent upward for Clinton and 2.5 percent down for Trump over the course of a full seven-day sample. This is, in the language of his Twitter handle, the real Donald Trump. Bernie Sanders of Vermont during the Democratic primaries, said Trump has a point about the Democratic Party and black voters. Vice President Joe Biden will camp out in working class areas of OH and Pennsylvania.

One leading indicator of the shifting geography of American politics: This summer, Ms. Clinton even campaigned in Nebraska, which voted Republican in 18 of the last 19 elections, the only exception since 1936 being the Goldwater debacle.

John Stubbs is a founder of Republicans for Clinton in 2016 and was senior advisor to the US Trade Representative in the White House of George W. Bush.

“Her campaign in MI is more about the ground game, not her personality”, Waymire said.

She said she had a good Labor Day weekend, calling it “the last moment before the mad dash”.

She needs to prepare for a candidate who’s the most unpredictable nominee in decades. She has not held a formal question-and-answer session with reporters since one in Iowa in early December.
