Twenty-three-year-old fragrance retailer Dan Callaghan’s unusual suggestion set the tone for a madcap opening episode that introduced the 18 candidates vying for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment on the hit BBC show.
Alan Sugar promises things really “get going” in the 11th series of The Apprentice, which starts on BBC One on Wednesday (14Oct15). He’s worked with Lord Sugar, so he knows exactly what it takes.
“I don’t know what I’ll be remembered for, most probably by the population for firing people”, he added. You can not say you can not sell to the public.
Natalie said: “I would describe myself as someone who’s very confident, intelligent and able”.
But he said: “I enjoyed meeting the people, they were really nice and really friendly”.
He said “I grew up in Windlesham with my parents and my brother and then moved to Thorpe”.
Since then, Tim has been awarded an MBE for Enterprise Culture in the 2012 New Year’s Honours List, is a speaker who is passionate about the power of business, is the founder of entrepreneurial social enterprise Bright Ideas Trust, a charitable organisation which encourages young budding entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds, and is owner of his own small business.

“There’s no doubt in today’s economy, that apps and social networking are important”.
Instead “dragons” from the North Herts business community will be guiding them as they work in teams to raise the cash for local good causes.
Here are the biggest talking points from the first episode of The Apprentice.
“I don’t think it’s lost any of its relevance at all”, he insists.
But it turns out the businessman isn’t as hard-faced as he comes across on the programme.
“It’s quite disarming if someone’s looking outside and not giving you eye contact but actually he’s listening to everything, he’s taking very much into account what you’re saying”. Would Littner be game for the job?
Age: 47 Sample quote: “Lord Sugar might think I’m a bit gushing, he might find me over-zealous, but I think he’ll think I’m great”.
For the moment, Littner is fully committed to the show.
He said: “It is fair to say that we had a few very, very tough times”.
