What to Do If You Have a Recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7
Samsung Electronic KRW5000 (OTCMKTS:SSNLF) has announced a recall of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung has already halted their sales in 10 markets.
“Only 24 out of every one million handsets were affected by the battery problem; Investigations are still ongoing, but we have chose to stop selling the phone and offer replacements as customer safety is our top priority”, he said.
Retailing in the U.S.at around $850 per phone, the recall is a huge setback for the world’s largest smartphone maker. About 2.5 million of the phones have been sold, according to various news reports.
Koh Dong-jin, president of Samsung’s mobile business, has stated a investigation found the source of the problem to be one of the two batteries used on the devices.
Samsung recalls Galaxy Note 7 after battery problems worldwide:- A South Korean global smartphone maker company Samsung has stopped the sales of one of its innovative smartphone Galaxy Note 7 in India due to the battery problem.
“Samsung have advised that they are planning to provide a new Note 7 in exchange for the sold Note 7 to consumers”, Spark said. “We are encouraging customers to exchange their Note 7 by taking advantage of our Product Exchange Program”. An exchange will also prompt Samsung to offer a $25 gift card or a credit on a customer’s next wireless bill.

More details about how the recall programme will work will be announced shortly, the company said.
UPDATE: A second Samsung statement said they are working with carrier partners to announce details of a United States product exchange program as soon as today.

Moreover, the company has officially declined to comment on any plan to recall its flagship phone, which has been the subject of online complaints from its customers who claimed that their devices had battery issues while charging and caught fire.
