Apple’s has envisaged a unique way of marketing its latest iPhone models to a niche audience by showcasing first glimpse of their latest products at well-timed events that coincide with the year-end holiday shopping season.

This year’s iPhones will not be all that different from last year’s.
In July, the company reached a path-breaking milestone by announcing the sale of its billionth iPhone.The company in recent years has faced intense competition from fellow competitors and a drop in their iPhone sales in the second quarter of this year is testimony to the same.
Still, this year’s iPhone promises to be a pretty impressive upgrade, so long as you’re not banking on a big redesign.
We’re used to pre-launch rumour overload and confusion, but sometimes some sources really don’t help the situation with the way they describe things. It might feature a 2x 12MP dual rear camera with one for the wide angles captures and one as the standard camera. There will also be the camera’s flash with its four LEDs. In our view, more high-end smartphones will adopt this feature going forward.
The iPhone 7 Plus will have 3GB of RAM which will boost the performance of the dual-lens camera system. This has the potential to be pretty damn confusing if misinterpreted, however.
The rumor mill has been grinding away with talk of iPhone 7 models that will boast faster chips, more sophisticated cameras, and improved software while doing away with jacks for plugging in wired headphones.
Lastly, reports point to Apple bundling a lightning to 3.55 adapter in the iPhone 7’s box in order to make the transition easier for consumers. Albeit without photos to back them up.
But why the switch to LG at the 11th hour?

All this points to a significant camera upgrade over its predecessor and might be the defining feature of the iPhone 7. Regularly rolling out new versions of its best selling hardware is key to the company’s business. Apple will not use the same unit though; it will be tinkered with and updated and brought in-line with the iPhone’s internal spec. Apple will likely unveil the new variant of the Apple Watch.
But there is some good news, the leaked images of the iPhone 7 point to a reworking of the “ugly” antenna lines with the new setup looking much better than the one seen on the iPhone 6S.
Amidst all this doom and gloom, I for one think the iPhone 7 won’t be the disappointment everyone thinks it is. And that by itself is quite a USP, indeed! In addition, this could finally be the year Apple kills the baffling 16GB version of the iPhone for a 32GB entry-level device, bumping up the entire line’s storage capacity.
While it’s not yet clear when exactly Apple is projected to begin sales of the new iPhone generation, the company could attempt to break its own first weekend-sales record that was set by the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus a year ago in October.

However, all the leaks and rumors pertaining to the iPhone 7 point to a very mild design overhaul, with the smartphone looking more or less similar to the iPhone 6S.
