What to expect from Apple’s March 21 event

As for what to expect, the invitation as always tries to give a cunning hunt – and “Let us loop you in” does nothing to confirm anything in my view – but let the speculation begin!

As usual, Apple is spilling few details ahead of its next big media event, scheduled for March 21. The main highlight of this event is expected to be the release of new iPhone and iPad.

Just as rumored, Apple will be holding a new event later this month that’s very likely to bring us the new iPhone SE, a new iPad, plus several fresh Apple Watch bands.

Multiple media reports suggest Apple will introduce an iPhone with a 4-inch touchscreen, smaller than its current iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which feature screens of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches respectively.

The phone also features internal components such as faster A9 processor and a M9 coprocessor as well as a NFC inbuilt support for Apple’s payments platform- -Apple Pay.

It will come with up to 64GB of storage and more and have a 1,642 mAh battery.

This new iPad Pro could simply be a smaller version of its larger counterpart. The patent revealed that the VR headset will require an iPhone to be inserted for it to work. It is being said that the 4-incher will look like the iPhone 5s, while some reports say that it might get a design similar to the iPhone 6/6s.

Some other products Apple could show off? The iPad Air 3, which comes out as a 9.3 inched tablet, will also be featuring a smart-connector, where the users can attach a keyboard and use the iPad Air 3 more comfortably.

The last product believed to be on the agenda for the event is something Apple Watch related, although of the three being launched this is the one we know the least about in terms of leaks. We’ll have to wait until the early hours of March 22 in Australia to find out.

The new headphones, which Apple is making in part thanks to its acquisition of headphone maker Beats Electronics, are also rumored to be coming with noise-cancelling features, can answer phone calls, and can interact with Siri, according to 9to5 Mac.
