What to Watch For: Patriots vs. Giants Preseason Game 4
“If Brady plays, I’ll be even more excited”, Deayon told Newsday.

The Patriots play their fourth and final preseason game tonight.
Curran of CSNNE was the first to report the news that Brady will start tonight and Jimmy Garoppolo will sit out.
The Tennessee Titans forced and recovered a fumble on the game’s first play, setting up a one-yard touchdown by rookie Derrick Henry, as they beat the Miami Dolphins, 21-10. The Giants held out their starting defense. That game started just minutes before San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick again chose to protest the national anthem before the Niners played in San Diego.
In somewhat of a surprise move, the Patriots played Tom Brady for the entire first half. “It was a good opportunity to get out there and play”. His first series lasted four plays and a penalty.
A play later, hearts paused all over New England as Brady took off for a 10-yard gain with no ill effects. In the second half, running back Tyler Gaffney was having his foot/toe looked at on the sideline, while rookie receiver Devin Lucien was helped off after a late hit.
According to Price, the snaps Brady played Thursday night were his most in a preseason finale since he became the starter. He was 9 of 18 for 76 yards before exiting in the second quarter.
Giants: King, who was on the practice squad a year ago, should have a roster spot locked up after catching four passes for 80 yards and his third TD of the preseason.
King, a member of the Giants practice squad last season who has been making a strong push this summer for a roster spot, finished his big night catching 4 of 5 pass targets for 80 yards; he also finished with a team-leading three touchdowns this summer. He ran for just 22 yards on nine carries, but hauled in a game-high nine receptions for 110 yards, including a nice 30-yard wheel route from Brady.
Belichick was the Giants’ defensive coordinator under Bill Parcells during their glory years of the 1980s when Big Blue won two Super Bowl titles. Brady’s first game back will be against the Cleveland Browns. He capped it with a 7-yard strike to Keshawn Martin. In those two years he averaged 16.1 and 18.9 yards per catch respectively.
Detroit rookie running back Dwayne Washington, a seventh-round pick from Washington, got the Lions going early with a 58-yard touchdown run as the Lions cruised to a 31-0 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
