What we learned: Raiders rally to defeat Chargers in OT

It wasn’t meant for Charles Woodson to play the hero Thursday night, so a grateful supporting cast chipped in to send him out a victor before the home fans in a 23-20 overtime win over the San Diego Chargers at O.co Coliseum.

After Woodson lost 3 yards on a reverse when San Diego covered a possible pass to Carr in the end zone, Janikowski hit the go-ahead field goal. Nonetheless head coach Jack Del Rio honored Woodson even within the name of the play they ran unsuccessfully Del Rio stated they have been awaiting alternative to run play for Woodson on offense. He’s a great Raiders.

Thursday’s game was the last home contest for any of the three teams eyeing the L.A. market. I just had to beat one guy.

Lambo equalized on a 45-yard field goal with 55 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave hinted earlier this week that retiring safety Charles Woodson might get a chance to play wide receiver in the future Hall of Famer’s “Black Hole” sendoff.
