Five different variants of the Surface Book have been announced, which differ in price tags according to specifications. Buyers who wish to customize their Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 can also visit Microsoft online stores to order the devices with their own configurations. J.P. Gownder of Forrester Research thinks the device “stands out as a powerful competitor to the MacBook and a clear substitute for bulkier Windows machines”.
