WhatsApp adding Starred Messages for quick access to important texts
Android smartphone users can now download a new beta version of popular messaging service WhatsApp and check out a new feature using which important messages and conversations can be starred for later viewing.

Users of the iPhone that have the latest iOS 9 update can now take advantage of the newest WhatsApp version. Users can just simply search, tap and install the update to enjoy the new version of WhatsApp. Perhaps you can’t remember the exact term used, or you want to find a media file that cannot be found using the search.
Starred messages can be a great alternative, allowing users to find specific messages faster and more easily. Basically starred messages are kind of like bookmarks for your messages.
It seems like a small feature, but its usefulness makes it odd that it hasn’t been an option so far.
It will essentially let you favourite a message so you can refer back to it later.
WhatsApp is out with a new beta version of its chat software for Android, and, unlike the last update that mainly ironed bugs, this time it comes with a variety of new features that bring it closer to richer and more capable chat apps.

With the new beta, tapping and holding on any message will now display a new star icon in the app’s toolbar, next to the delete and copy icons. Photos and videos can be starred as well to be viewed later in the Starred message folder. The feature was been introduced in iOS9 first and is not yet available in the Google Play Store for Android phones. For missed calls on the WhatsApp, you can now reply with a personalized message, telling the other party why you can’t answer at the moment. The beta works well and without hiccups, but it may still have a bug or two.
