When are the 2016 Emmy Awards on TV? Are they streaming?

This family sitcom is receiving a lot of critical acclaim for its second season, including three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy, Comedy Actor and Comedy Actress. ABC Go will begin livestreaming the show with the red carpet coverage and continue on through the ceremony. Though not technically a pilot, the film is up for both Outstanding Television Movie and Lead Actress in a Limited Series.

Netflix Inc., which has been investing heavily in content, earned 54 Emmy nominations this year, up from the 34 nominations it claimed last year.

Hiddleston will bring the evening to a close, taking the stage to announce the best drama series.

The darkly humorous crime drama anthology Fargo, which follows a different set of characters through the unusual dangers of midwest America each season, has earned 18 nominations for their latest iteration of the series, which stars Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, among others.

“Master of None” is an offbeat comedy drama that did something that is rarely ever done: get nominated for an Emmy for its very first season.
