When can I zoom on Instagram photos? Maybe today
One the biggest downfalls of Instagram has always remained the inability to zoom in on a picture or video, with many Instagram newbies trying to zoom and liking the photo instead. The Android update will come along in a few weeks. With pinch-to-zoom support, users can get better close-up views of Instagram posts within their feed, on other users’ profiles, and in the Explore tab.

Just update the app to enjoy the new feature. If you find a photo or video you’d like to take a close look at, simply perform the famous pinch gesture, and voilà!
But still, iOS and Android users alike have probably been dreaming of diving into a dog’s maw or investigating the stains on their buddies’ clothing since the dawn of Instagram. Previously, Instagram’s 500 million-plus users couldn’t zoom in on a photo or video.
