Where are all the RNC Trump protesters? We asked an organizer
Most protests took place in Public Square, near East 4th Street and Prospect Avenue in front of the security gate for Quicken Loans Arena and Perk Park at East 12th Street and Chester Avenue.

According to ABC5 Cleveland, no arrests were made on Thursday.

The four-day Republican convention has drawn to a close with a total of only two dozen protest-related arrests.
The demonstrations that many feared would end in pitched battles between police and protesters turned at times into carnival-like scenes on Public Square, the city’s commons, with bongo players, protesters dressed as nuns on stilts and children and adults alike splashing in the square’s water feature.
On Thursday evening, hundreds of demonstrators for and against Donald Trump gathered in Public Square, but the crowds soon melted away well before Trump’s prime-time acceptance speech.
Trump said Cleveland police were doing “an incredible job”.
About 10 more minutes passed before the crowd was under control.

Ciaccia said officers were investigating and urging people not to take stickers from people they don’t know. He said that for the most part, observers saw police conducting themselves properly. There are 5,500 law enforcement officers assigned to convention duty, but they had given protesters, even those marching on roads without permits, a wide berth.
Two officers were assaulted and suffered minor injuries, police said. So far, he said, the police have been “really professional”.
Syringes were added to a list of items banned in the protest zone around the convention over concerns that officers could be targeted.
At times in the Public Square, there seem to be as many reporters looking for people to interview as there are protesters looking to make a statement.
City records show three of five officially permitted protests planned for the first three days of the convention did not occur.
Police have formed a barricade using their bikes between different groups. And while tempers rose during several protests rallies, peace prevailed.
Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams claimed the trouble started when Johnson set himself and others on fire on while lighting up the flag, forcing police to intervene as a scuffle broke out.
Asked if she was anxious about an escalation of violence as the convention heads towards its conclusion with trump acceptance speech Thursday, Perez said, “I’m more anxious about a Trump presidency”.

Before the RNC, some Cleveland business owners were a little uneasy.
At the Wednesday incident, a group of demonstrators failed to disperse and attempted to block the entrance to the Quicken Loans Arena. One officer was seen bleeding from an elbow.
Cleveland police originally said 17 people were arrested Wednesday.
Cleveland Police Department’s Twitter posted updates throughout the ordeal.
Police said officers had moved in because a member’s trousers had caught on fire. At a press conference outside the jailhouse on Thursday morning, party members disputed that. Sunsara Taylor says members are being illegally detained to prevent them from protesting.
Alberty said he had been tense earlier in the week after an altercation with another protester but was calmer by Thursday afternoon.
The anti-Trump forces scheduled an afternoon parade and an evening rally on the day Trump was scheduled to accept the Republican nomination for president.
The four-day convention has been a challenge for police, who have arrested 22 people.

Two of those arrested were charged with assaulting police; the rest were charged with incitement to violence, a misdemeanor. “They have a right to say what they want to say”, Williams said afterward.
