Where’s Daniel Goodfellow? Tom Daley’s Olympic diving partner disappears
The 19-year-old became Daley’s third partner in as many Olympics, and proved to have the magic touch as he helped the British star of the sport earn another coveted medal at the Games.

Just minutes after his performance, Jazz Carlin took silver in the women’s 400m freestyle.
“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the support”, he said.
Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Ms Goodfellow said Dan didn’t mind as “he’s quite happy to stay in the background”.
“It helps me work out where they stand and it was a very tense moment but at the end we knew it was coming”.
“His mum, Debbie, is out there with him and I think his boyfriend Lance is there too, so he can now relax with his family before the next big event and challenge”.
When Sharon Goodfellow voiced annoyance that her son, Dan, was missing from the newspaper front pages in favour of his fellow bronze medalwinner Tom Daley yesterday, most assumed that she was justifiably angered that her son had been overlooked in favour of the more famous diver.
They were third after three of six dives, but slipped to fifth after their fourth, a reverse three and a half somersaults with tuck scored 81.60.
She also said she had tweeted a complaint to the Telegraph.
Britain’s slalom canoeists cruised into the semi-finals of both the men’s C2 and women’s K1.
His Olympic honour follows more than a year battling back from a shoulder injury which left him unable to raise his arm fully. If Tom and Dan had mucked up their last dive, then they would have forfeited the Bronze as it wasn’t much room between the points.
With it being one of Team GB’s first medals so far in the tournament, Twitter was alight with excitement.
Armitstead was one of the favourites for glory in the cycling but missed out in the 137-kilometres race as Holland’s Anna van der Breggen won a dramatic gold. The men’s gymnastics team was also beaten into fourth place, behind Japan, Russia and China.
The bottom line, he said then, was that: “I’m still Tom”.
It was a frustrating day for Great Britain’s equestrian eventing team in the cross-country phase of the Olympic competition as team’s eventing medal hopes slipped away. We are just so pleased he got the bronze.
