Unfortunately for Samsung fans the firm is not supporting Adoptable Storage with its latest smartphones.

Samsung recently released Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. This means you can’t format the the microSD card as internal storage because Android is supposed to combine the built-in storage and the microSD card provide. Adoptable Storage is also primarily targeted towards emerging markets where devices with only 4-8GB of onboard storage are common. For the Galaxy S7 edge, it’s $30.50 monthly for 24 months. This handset is engineered with a 1.6GHz processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In my opinion, it’s one of the best features of Marshmallow, especially if you have a low to mid-range phone with limited storage, like the Moto X Play.
The Galaxy S7 is equipped with a 5.1-inch display with a 2,560×1,440-pixel resolution and a 12-megapixel camera.
The Android Marshmallow update is expected to arrive on the phones in a day or two. These new flagship smartphones are powered with Android Marshmallow software.
