The time has come to choose between the light and the dark – but as the release of the latest Star Wars film arrives, who will you pledge you allegiance to?
The Oscar victor shared revealed the only thing she actually remembered from her audition was “crouching around and I was using my hands as a gun”.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens was kept under tight, tight wraps as it was ramping up.
It’s well known that Star Wars is a multi-billion dollar franchise, and some local Missoula businesses say they are thankful to get a small piece of that for themselves.
The new instalment in the Star Wars movie saga opens in United Kingdom cinemas on 17 December and in the U.S. the following day.
“I loved it”, actor-director Zach Braff told The Associated Press immediately after the premiere.
Disney screened “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” simultaneously at three Hollywood theaters, with the cast watching the film at the Dolby Theatre.
The next generation of “Star Wars” films kicked off with an elaborate debut for “The Force Awakens” Monday that served as a proverbial passing of the lightsaber to new groups of fighters duelling in a cinematic galaxy far, far away.
The last live-action “Star Wars” film was 2005’s “Revenge of the Sith”, which capped a prequel trilogy focusing on the story of how Skywalker’s father became villain Darth Vader.
One Twitter user said that the film “spoke to [his] every emotion” and that it was an “amazing, overwhelming experience”. He said: “Well I hope they have because I want the audience to get their money’s worth”.
Speaking from the premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, Ford reflected: “Well, in the ’70s nobody knew what to anticipate”.
The Force Awakens is her first feature film; Americans probably have only seen the native Londoner in small roles in British shows such as Mr. Selfridge.
