Which ‘American Horror Story’ Season 6 Trailer Reveals The Horror Anthology’s Theme?
It reported that for “American Horror Story” Season 6, executive producer Ryan Murphy has taken a new route.

The series is now listed as “American Horror Story: The Mist”. Perhaps even stranger of a coincidence, a purported callsheet for Season 6 revealed Frank Darabont The Mist star Jeffrey DeMunn among the cast, alongside franchise newbies Estella Warren and iZombie star Robert Buckley. We wanted to [create a] different experience for the fans this year.
FX CEO John Landgraf revealed in early August that sniffing out the Season 6 theme won’t be very easy. Coincidentally one of the many millions of trailers released ahead of American Horror Story season six is titled “The Mist” which sees a terrifying figure crawling towards the camera baked in a sepia tint.
Next we see a series of Season 6 trailer clips and among the clips shown, we see “The Mist” and “Sunset Stroll”, followed by several others that seem a lot more farfetched.
The actor squirmed through questions about what he was able to say, admitting, “I still don’t quite know what the name of the season is”.

It becomes even more complicated considering the wording on the website lists one of those trailers as simply the theme for “the premiere episode” too – possibly indicating the rest of the season could branch into completely new territory. He hinted that all the seasons of “American Horror Story” are connected. A couple of media slip-ups from this week may have just spilled the beans on what the theme of American Horror Story season 6 is going to be.
