Which Class of 2016 nominee was most gypped?
After being nominated four times, American hip-hop group N.W.A. (short for N–s With Attitude) is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The groundbreaking Los Angeles rap act N.W.A. will join a quartet of 1970s era FM radio rockers, Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple and Steve Miller as 2016 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015.
Honestly, I don’t know why I even bother to get mad at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame anymore. “It’s just exciting that the group as a whole gets recognised by the whole industry as Hall of Fame-worthy”.
They are the fifth rap group to make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, preceded chronologically by Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC, the Beastie Boys, and finally Public Enemy.
Not coincidentally, three of the inductees – Chicago, Deep Purple and Miller – finished in the top five in fan voting.
Performers are eligible for induction into the Cleveland, Ohio-based Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first recording, and are voted on by a pool of 800 members of the Hall of Fame Foundation. While having more young voters, on the surface, sounds like a very good thing, there can be the danger that they are not as familiar with the rock music of older groups, like Yes, and to a lesser extent, The Cars. This is the verdict of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, an institution that singles out bands and individual artists for their “unquestionable musical excellence” without exactly making a rush to judgment.
He also spoke with Rolling Stone about what this accomplishment means to N.W.A’s career.
Dr. Dre (left) and Ice Cube, two members of N.W.A., subject of the movie “Straight Outta Compton”, promote the film in April.
Miller, who will be inducted, is confirmed to perform April 14 At Humphreys Concerts by the bay; tickets are now on sale at Ticketmaster. “We are excited and honored”. HBO will air the induction ceremony this spring.

He adds, “If they had asked me what do, I think I would have said, ‘Here’s a list of everyone that was ever in my band”.
