Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux married in a top secret ceremony.

The pair tied the knot at their Bel Air mansion – but told friends it was just a birthday party, according to American celebrity website TMZ.

Likewise, Aniston is Cox’s 11-year-old daughter CoCo’s godmother, and last February the “Cake” actress gushed to More magazine about their strong friendship.

And now after all the celebrations are done, the couple has left for the lovely island of Bora Bora for a romantic honeymoon.

The star-studded affair included celebrity pals Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Ken Marino, Lake Bell and jewelry designer Jen Meyer, who were all photographed at the event. “Jen and Justin wanted to surprise guests, and guests were certainly surprised”, People magazine reported. The wedding was disguised as a birthday party for Theroux, who turns 44 on August 10.

But the rumor-mill is working overtime about Theroux jeopardizing the couple’s newly consummated marriage by diving into work, with his return to HBO’s leftovers. For real. The couple enjoyed a week-long stay at the Four Seasons hotel, which is the same hotel they’re staying at for their honeymoon, so it appears that they must have really enjoyed it there last time.

A blurry photo has surfaced showing the newlyweds on a boat in the tropical location, joined by Jason Bateman, his wife Amanda Anka, and their kids.
