While Dwyane Wade reacts to cousin’s death, Donald Trump politicizes tragedy
He and his mother also participated in an ESPN discussion on gun violence in America that was recorded at a YMCA in Chicago. Another act of senseless gun violence. “Enough. Enough is enough”.

Wade’s family has not yet responded to Trump’s tweets.
This is all okay, though, because after all, Trump supporters are quick to say it’s not fair to judge Donald Trump on the things he says.
Branstad told The Associated Press on Saturday that he’s going to personally deliver that message to Trump when they share a ride to a campaign stop at the state fairgrounds.
He posted: “Dwayne Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago”. “(I) just sat up on a panel yesterday. talking about the violence that’s going on within our city of Chicago, never knowing that we would be the ones actually living and experiencing it”.
Donald Trump is pushing hard his outreach to African-American voters in a speech to a predominantly white crowd in Iowa.
A few hours after the tweet was posted, Trump deleted it and replaced it with an identical onet with Dwyane Wade’s name spelled properly. More outrage ensued because hello, the problem is that Trump appears not to care one bit about the actual loss.
Wade, who was born in Chicago, signed with the Chicago Bulls this July in a move that was celebrated by the city as a homecoming.
The Republican presidential nominee faced backlash earlier Saturday, when he tweeted about the death of Nykea Aldridge, who was caught in crossfire and shot in the head and arm while leaving a school in Chicago.
TV host Kelly Ripa and NBA basketball player Dwyane Wade during the production of “Live Kelly” in NY in July.
Mr Trump has been regularly using gun homicides in Chicago as a broader representation of an increase in violent crime across the nation – an increase for which there isn’t evidence.
Numerous neighborhoods on the city’s South and West sides where the violence is concentrated struggle with gang membership and high unemployment and poverty rates.
Other Democrats – including Clinton – have criticized Trump’s tone and rhetoric about African-American issues as insensitive and have questioned his commitment to black voters. That belief is one that extends well beyond black voters. “What do you have to lose?” he has asked repeatedly, in a pitch that seems hard to outdo for ineffectiveness. That’s the utility of the life of Nykea Aldridge as far as Donald Trump can see it.

What’s interesting is that the broader context undermines Mr Trump’s argument. Kaine said that Trump’s past helping facilitate the “birther” controversy about President Obama makes it impossible for him to be serious about reaching out to the African American community.
