White House: All GOP candidates should disavow Donald Trump
Legal experts are sounding off on Donald Trump’s call to block all Muslims from entering the United States, saying his proposal is not only unconstitutional, but also impossible to carry out.

Trump spent the day defending his call to block all Muslims from entering the U.S.
On Twitter, the most popular hashtags associated with the outspoken billionaire candidate following his proposal were #TrumpisnotmyAmerica and #DontVoteTrump.
“I’m not concerned about lasting damage to the party, I’m concerned about standing up for our country’s principles”, Ryan said. “We have a president who doesn’t want to say that”.
What Trump proposed, he said, “is not what this party stands for”. The speaker said he doesn’t normally comment on the presidential race but was making an exception.
The most pointed comparison between Trump and Hitler came Tuesday morning when the Philadelphia Daily News published a picture of Trump holding his right hand up at what appears to be a speech, with the headline “The New Furor”. “Are they going to be dragged into the dustbin of history along with Donald Trump?”. “If they are so cowed by Mr. Trump and his supporters that they are not willing to stand by the values enshrined in the Constitution, then they have no business serving as president of the United States themselves”.
“I do think you have to look at the security issues on the countries where some people are traveling to and from and put a tighter grid”, he said. John Cornyn of Texas, the second-ranking Senate Republican, swiftly condemned Trump’s plan Monday night.
“I agree with what really Cheney’s sentiment is”, said Brownback, who was a member of the U.S. Senate when Cheney was in office.
Trump first toyed with the idea of an independent presidential bid earlier this year, but amid intense pressure from national Republicans, he and the other candidates eventually signed a pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee.
“He’s putting our soldiers and diplomats at risk, he’s empowering the enemy”, said Graham, another Republican presidential contender, in an interview with CNN.

While he said the comments made by Trump may draw negative attention to his mosque, he said he invited anyone unsure of his religion to stop by and ask questions.
