White House Chief of Staff Urges Trump to Remove EPA Chief Pruitt
Whereas sources inform ABC Information that many administration officers consider Pruitt ought to exit, together with chief of workers John Kelly, different sources insist the president is standing by him for now.

Earlier this week, CNN reported that, far from being terminated, President Trump was considering a promotion for his EPA administrator.
Steve Hart, a lobbyist with the firm Williams & Jensen, claimed that his rental agreement with Pruitt did not lead to any favoritism toward his firm’s clients at the EPA.
Still, Trump said he would make a determination about the ethics issues. “You know, I just left coal and energy country”.
HERSHER: You know, there is some.
Pruitt is facing several media reports raising concerns of pursuing perks in office including travel, new office furniture, getting discounted rental fees at his D.C. condo, and forcing out some of his EPA critics.
But, ultimately, it’s up to the president to determine whether Pruitt goes or stays. “He’s been very courageous”.
“I think he’s done a fantastic job”.
Among Pruitt’s supporters is Kentucky Gov. Trump tweeted at 10:46 a.m. Those raises had been flagged because they were rejected by the White House but were then granted using an obscure provision in the Safe Drinking Water Act. Two of the other officials were moved to positions where they would have less input into spending decisions and interact less with Pruitt directly. Elise Stefanik, of NY, and Carlos Curbelo and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, both of Florida – have also called on Pruitt to resign.
Amid the ethics cloud, one of Pruitt’s closest aides has resigned.
Chmielewski and Allen declined to comment. Reeder is the husband of a Washington Post reporter, Carol Leonnig.
Seeking to recover from a storm of ethical scandals with a tour of conservative news outlets, embattled Environmental Protection Agency director Scott Pruitt sat down with Fox News’ Ed Henry for an interview yesterday afternoon. One trip to Morocco a year ago cost $40,000. In addition, his adult daughter stayed in a separate bedroom while she interned during the summer for the White House, according to reports. The lease has sparked controversy because of its “unconventional” term, Pruitt paid for the space by the day at a rate of $50 a night.
“Some have raised questions whether the actual use of the space was consistent with the terms of the lease”, Minoli wrote. But many now believe Pruitt’s days – or hours – as an administration employee are numbered. “Pruitt must resign”, Pelosi said in the statement.
KELLY: OK. And one other new wrinkle to throw in.
“What they gave me was not the full picture”. I can’t say anything any clearer than that.
The owner of the condo Scott Pruitt leased was issued a notice of infraction for not having the required license to rent.

He has also been living in a Washington, DC condo co-owned by the wife of an energy lobbyist for under market price, according to ABC News. According to a senior administration official, Vicki Hart made the change.
