A special aide to President Obama who discovered a cover-up at the highest levels of government-her Capitol Police boyfriend’s affair-is now behind bars after allegedly taking revenge on him with his own service weapon.

NBC Washington first reported her arrest. Police say she took his.

That’s when she allegedly-and somewhat generously, for a scorned woman brandishing a stolen gun-offered not to shoot the boyfriend if he would give her access to his texts. Documents also reportedly show that Singletary wiped the gun down with a towel after using it. And unlike the two-timing bastard, Singletary kept her word: cops say she fired off a round in his general direction.

“We are aware of the matter and have temporarily placed the employee in question on unpaid leave and revoked her access to the complex until we have more information”, Earnest said, before referring to the local police department for details.

After the boyfriend refused to give Singletary the passwords on his phones, she pointed the gun at him and said, “You taught me how to use this”. Singletary has since been placed on administrative leave by the White House.

The White House has little to say about Singletary’s attempt to disarm and them murder her boyfriend with his service weapon.

Singletary was released Monday from jail in Prince George’s County, Maryland, after posting a $75,000 bond, according to spokesman John Erzen of Maryland’s state’s attorney’s office.

In a separate statement, a spokesperson for the Capitol Police said: “We are investigating the matter mindful on the underlying criminal investigation”.

In an article from June 2014, a senior White House official told Politico that Singletary was “deeply respected by members and staff on both sides of the aisle for her policy knowledge and focused but even keeled nature”.
