During a speech about the virtues of Finland, President Obama commented on the country’s love of metal and, in fact, his own.

The South by South Lawn event’s interactive section will include panel discussions exploring topics like “how to make change stick with organizers who are having an impact”, according to a blog post.

The White House announces a music and arts festival.

The White House recently announced plans for an upcoming one-day festival “celebrating the spirit of innovation”, aptly titled South by South Lawn. Who knows – before you know it, you or someone you know could be hobnobbing with Barry or Michelle.

The White House invites people around the country to nominate their community members, or themselves, if they are creating change, big or small, to attend.
