Speaking to several hundred black college students in Georgia, Hillary Clinton on Friday promised to fight racial profiling, private prisons and the practice of asking about criminal records on initial job applications.

The White House has issued a statement that it will not release emails between President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, citing longstanding precedent.
The Southern campaign swing is part of Clinton’s increasing emphasis on a band of conservative states that typically garner more attention from Republican White House hopefuls.

The exchanges will be released eventually, as stipulated by federal law, but the Obama administration wants them kept confidential during Obama’s term in office.

“Direct communications by the president and his senior advisers are really at the very center of what is trying to be protected by executive privilege and the separation of powers”, said William Burck, a deputy counsel for President George W. Bush.
The State Department is releasing them in monthly batches through to next January. “He asked numerous of times for extra protection, and if I had been Mr. Stevens, and I think anybody watching this would agree, if I had been Mr. Stevens and I had had a relationship with you and I had requested 20 or more times for additional security to protect not only my life but the people that were there with me, I would have gotten in touch with you a few way”.
During the Benghazi Committee hearings last week, Clinton acknowledged that Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who was killed along with three other Americans in the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Libya, did not have Clinton’s private email address.
Since Sanders is likely to go after her on exactly these issues, the pressure from activists forces Clinton to distill her positions ahead of the next Democratic debate. “I tell you the one thing I will never do”.
A federal judge has ordered the State Department to publicly release all of Clinton’s emails from her time as the nation’s top diplomat after Vice News sued the department under freedom of information laws.
