White Wisconsin college grads to Trump: ‘You’re fired’

Apparently to Chris Matthews’s mind, Ted Cruz’s criticism of Donald Trump for exhibiting “New York values” was not about the social and economic liberalism of the Big Apple’s cultural and political elite, but rather an attack on city life itself, and a racist, xenophobic one at that which abhors Big City “diversity”. He is winning the guerrilla war to elect delegates pledged to Trump but loyal to Cruz for all procedural fights and for any votes after the first ballot at the convention. Perhaps Trump’s rise has made them forget how little affection they have for Cruz; Cruz being the nominee could quickly reinforce that reality.

Both parties are turning their sights toward NY, which offers a massive delegate prize in its April 19 contests. “It’s the values of the liberal, democratic politicians that have been hammering the people of NY for a long time”.

“‘From what I hear, somebody bought the rights to it and he was the one or his campaign bought the rights and they gave it to the super PAC”, Trump said on ABC’s “This Week”.

On the Democratic side, Sanders, a Brooklyn-born United States senator representing Vermont, is trying to stage a come-from-behind upset of Clinton, but will struggle to overcome a large deficit in delegates.

With six wins in the last seven contests, it seems nothing can stop the Bernie Sanders express except maybe this reminder from Hillary Clinton when she appeared on “The View” this week.

In contrast to a Republican primary season that has been rife with personal insults, the Democrats have largely avoided personal attacks and stuck to policy arguments. “If the problem is that Washington is corrupt, that government is corrupt, why would you want more government?” Trump, for one, has talked about riots if he’s denied the nomination after arriving at the convention with the biggest share of delegates, even if he’s short of 1,237.

Wisconsin followed a similar trend along ideology, with Cruz outpacing Trump among “somewhat conservative” Republicans and trouncing him among “very conservative” GOP voters. The senator has no realistic path to claim the nomination by the end of the primaries on June 7, but he might force a contested convention by blocking Trump from getting a majority of delegates in the state-by-state voting.

Currently, Trump has 743 delegates in the race to Cruz’s 517 delegates. He scored 48 percent of the vote to Trump’s 35 percent, and picked up the lion’s share of the state’s delegates.

With the victory in Wisconsin, Cruz added the support of 30 more delegates to the Republican convention this summer.

“This “New York values” comment is absolutely going to crush Ted Cruz”, Brown said on Fox Business Network’s “The Intelligence Report.”

“Everybody involved in the campaigns have invested countless time, sweat, tears, money and hopes”. It’s exactly what frankly Donald Trump said himself in an interview with Tim Russert when Tim was asking him about liberal things such as even partial birth abortion and he basically said, “Look, I do agree with abortion with no limitations, including partial birth abortion. Why?”

The GOP race will move into an area that theoretically should be more favorable to Trump, the northeast.

Wisconsin Republicans were less incensed than GOP primary voters in most states where Trump had previously triumphed, according to exit polls from the state’s presidential primary Tuesday.
