Whitecaps marvel at ‘unbelievable’ Leicester City’s run to Premier League title

Claudio Ranieri is sticking with Leicester’s title-winning blueprint and said the club won’t be in the market for established, expensive talent to strengthen the Premier League champions. They make big mistakes from the team and manager. “Now we can say only 99% of the time”, said Ranieri.

If the bookmakers had it as a 5,000-1 event, you would imagine you should achieve these type of things once every 5,000 years.

“He bought it as a joke because he was taking the mickey out of my team because he’s a bit of a closet Nottingham Forest fan”, Ms Clarke, a Leicester City season ticket holder of over 20 years, said.

O’Neill, previously City’s most successful boss having led them to two League Cup victories, saluted Claudio Ranieri’s outsiders for proving romanticism still exists in football: “It is absolutely extraordinary”, he said.

“Leicester was the Cinderella who was going to win the richest League in the world, so everyone loved it. I’ve never believed in fairytales, but I never lost hope”. I want to thank my players, chairman, staff and fans.

‘We can not wait to walk out onto the pitch in the shirt at the start of the 2016-17 Premier League season, as we defend our Premier League title’.

“I’m sure any sort of celebration could affect you in the long term if you had to face a hard month”.

Carl Robinson couldn’t wait for a reporter to finish his question about Leicester City’s improbable run to the English Premier League title before interjecting.

“I’m very, very confident [they will stay]”, he said.

Hiddink added: “It turned out to be a great half season and I want to close it with good performances in these last three matches”.

Okazaki watched the Tottenham game at teammate Jamie Vardy’s home with the rest of the Leicester players.

“You still expect to wake up and find them playing Rotherham away in the Championship, but it’s not the case”, the 29-year-old told The New Paper in a phone interview yesterday. If they come to me, I say this: “be careful”.

“I’d like to see him in the role of a Coach who brings a small football team to glory”.

Ranieri’s argument, though, is other clubs in the Premier League still have more money to spend on players.
