Say what you will about The Walking Dead, but everybody has feelings about it. Who knew a gory zombie show would be the go-to water cooler topic of the decade? The residents, who are still not used to trying to defend themselves against walkers or Wolves, are now facing a horde of the dead attacking all at once. However, the Season 6 mid-season ending was a little lackluster.

Tell us. were you happy with the midseason finale of The Walking Dead?

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the showrunner said that while season 6B has “a lot of moments directly out of the book when it comes to the Saviors”, fans should also expect “some hard left turns” from the comic story.

Fellow executive producer Robert Kirkman, who was a guest of the show, quickly chimed in with a tease of his own once Hardwick was finished reading: “So many people die”.

The final episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 6A aired on Sunday in the USA, while it is still set to be shown in Australia on Monday, Nov. 30. Sam’s fears got the best of him as he called out “mom” while there were tons of zombies nearby.

Shortly after the finale, and a few minutes too long into AMC’s disappointing new series Into the Badlands, The Walking Dead dropped off a prologue introducing the latter half of season six. Negan’s favorite weapon is a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, which he has dubbed Lucille, which is what he kills Glenn with in the comics.
