Whoopi Goldberg may leave ‘The View’ after latest season
Over the last few years, the ABC daytime talk show has seen its share of co-hosts come and go, but Goldberg has been a constant since she first joined The View in 2007. “So in September, when everyone comes back for the new season, you might not be there”, Wendy asked.

Whoopi Goldberg recently played guest, as opposed to her usual job of co-host, when she appeared on The Wendy Williams Show.
What are your thoughts on Goldberg possibly exiting “The View?“.
“No, probably not”, Whoopi admitted.
Upon gasps from the audience and protests by Williams herself, a steadfast Goldberg said “I have to do it, baby”. Even if this is her last go-round, Goldberg wants people to know that she hasn’t left yet.
“I got stuff to do”, she continued, “I have movies I need to direct, I have books I gotta finish”.
Editors Note: An earlier version of this story reported Whoopi Goldberg announced her departure from the talk-show “The View“.
“You know, they’re in their twentieth season”.
“They’re in their 20th season, they did this without me”.
Paula, who also anchors the weekend edition of Good Morning America, had a backstage meltdown and blamed her cut hours on Whoopi, a source told DailyMail Online.
“People tend to focus on the stereotype instead of the person, and this series will give viewers a unique opportunity to spend time with real people who are struggling with the same challenges we all face as we make our way through the world”, Goldberg says. She’s got ‘stuff to do!’ We’re spilling all the tea here!
