As BWW reported last week, Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she is co-writing an original comedic screenplay with amusing lady Amy Schumer. “It just flowed out of us”, the 25-year-old actress told New York Times before adding that a 100-page script is nearly ready.
“I emailed her after I saw “Trainwreck” and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started”. The popular stand-up comedian’s sister, Kim Schumer, is also reportedly involved in the script writing process. The two soon started exchanging texts and became quite close in just a couple of months.
“Hmm, who could play their mother?” she wrote on Twitter. Now it seems Bette Midler wants to throw her name into the ring of contenders for the role of their mother, and fans are freaking out again.
Midler took to social media to speculate about Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer’s collaboration.

Oscar victor Lawrence and Trainwreck star Schumer are playing sisters in the project – but no other details have been released so far. Her debut album, 1972’s The Divine Miss M set her on the path that has led her to earn Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes and Academy Award nominations in a career that has spanned over 40 years.
