Two senior Republicans, US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, were due to speak in favor of Trump.
The night’s most prominent speech will come from Indiana Gov. Mike Pence – who, as the GOP vice presidential candidate, will be the prime-time headliner. They don’t respond to rational, opposing arguments as to why he is the least equipped candidate to lead our nation that has ever run for this office.and could quite conceivably plunge the United States into World War III and cause global economic collapse.
In a video message, Mr Trump said that winning the nomination was something he would “never forget”.
In Melania Trump’s roughly 15-minute address on Monday night, a small section closely resembled a part of Michelle Obama’s speech in 2008 in support of her husband, Barack Obama, who was then campaigning for his first term as president.
Mr Lewandowski was sacked by the Trump campaign last month but has continued to voice his support for his old boss in his new job as a commentator on CNN. The event will now be held at Hofstra University in NY.
In retrospect, this was another unforced convention error.

“These were phrases that many people have used, whether you’re going to a motivational speech, whether you’re reading a book by a successful entrepreneur, ” Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said on SkyNews.
